Direct Loans

Financial assistance is available to participate in the financing of fixed assets for creditworthy manufacturing concerns, distribution centers, technology-based service companies and other business classifications.

​​Per the guidelines of the Commercial Loan Insurance program (CLINS), the WVEDA can insure up to 80% of a bank loan.

Broadband Loan Insurance

The Broadband Loan Insurance Program (BLINS) encourages lenders to undertake credit risk that will allow for the extension or expansion of broadband service to unserved or underserved areas of the State of West Virginia.

Industrial Development Bonds

Each calendar year, the State of West Virginia has available the authority to issue tax-exempt Industrial Development Bonds up to the maximum established by the United States Internal Revenue Code.

Foreign Trade Zones

Foreign-trade zones are secure areas under U.S. Customs supervision that are considered outside the Customs territory of the United States for the purposes of Customs duty payment upon activation under the regulations of the U.S. Customs Service.
